FriendPad was a vision... and now it's a reality. Created on a 120 GB Western Digital drive that would make the drive from Akron Ohio to Cleveland Ohio for years while I worked the daily grind of corporate life. I worked for a company that would coincidentally play match maker for corporate executives and pair them with Fortune 500 companies. They were headhunters for the elite upper echelon and I built systems that would help make that match making possible.

FriendPad wasn't my first attempt at an online dating site, but in fact over a decade ago I had built one of the first dating sites online in 1996. It was completely static out of the bedroom of my house and folks all over the country would mail in pictures of themselves. I would manually scan them in and post them online along with bios. The site was a hit but not long after I received a bill for the hosting that was costing a fortune. I somehow was able to get myself into the Top 3 search results in the Netscape search engine for nearly every search term known to man and traffic was flowing in. I was forced to close up shop to avoid going broke.

It's a new day. 12 years later and a lot of changes, FriendPad was born and we couldn't happier. It's free folks and again I'm paying the hosting bill for you. Have fun and enjoy what has been a long road and good luck in finding your Mr. or Mrs. Right!
